Designed by master luthier Kenny Hill, each Player P650S With Elevated Fingerboard With Ports is meticulously crafted to Kenny's specifications in a boutique shop in China that he set up, and by a team of artisans, some of whom he personally trained. Don't underestimate these instruments just because they were built offshore. These are all solid Indian rosewood back and sides and solid spruce top guitars with Spanish cedar necks, ebony fretboards, and a very thin PU finish. This guitar is also ported. Tastefully appointed with dyed and natural wood purflings, rosewood bindings, and an attractive traditional rosette. A two-way adjustable truss rod allows for fine-tuning the action for optimal playability. The Player P640C is definitely a cut above just about anything you will find in this price range. While these guitars are rough set up by Kenny and his team in his Ben Lomond, California workshop, we work on them in our shop to optimize them further.
