D’Addario Humidipak Restore Kit – Humidity Control Packs are designed to safely bring a dry instrument and its case back into a stable, healthy humidity range before transitioning to a long-term maintenance system. If your guitar has been stored in low-humidity conditions or has never been properly humidified, this system restores moisture in a controlled, reliable way.
Powered by Boveda’s patented two-way humidity control technology, the Restore Kit releases moisture gradually—without the risk of over-humidification. A reverse osmosis membrane ensures that only pure water vapor is emitted, helping protect tonewoods, finishes, and internal structure from damage.
Extended dryness can lead to shrinking tops, fret sprout, cracking, and changes in action. The Restore Kit removes the guesswork and anxiety from the recovery process. There are no dripping sponges, no refilling, and no manual adjustments—simply place the packets into the standard Humidipak system pouches inside your closed case and allow the environment to regulate itself.
